Les Smith started work as a “Saturday Boy” in his local butchers at 11 years old – 66 years later and he can still be seen working along side his daughter Donna, son Pip, granddaughter Kenna, and grandson Jake– a proper three generation family business!
Smiths Butchers now operate a busy retail shop from Market Street, Eastleigh, as well as serving many restaurants, pubs, hotels and clubs, from a “state of the art” butchery facility, also in Eastleigh.
The under lying principles of quality, provenance, together with the highest welfare and hygiene standards, set us apart from many butchers.
Our 5 star hygiene rating at the shop, and Food Standards Agency LTTC approval status, achieved at the commercial butchery, of which there are only 9 such establishments approved in the UK, sets us apart.
